GODBERD is an artists’ collective and a non-profit organization.  

GODBERD is also an online community, a marketplace, and a safe space.     

Our mission is to help artists, creators and craftspeople achieve their creative goals and connect with their potential audience.  

To do this we use innovative, art based, fund-raising techniques to generate revenue. 

This revenue allows us to micro-finance art projects, award residencies and offer mentorships. 

This means we are always in the process of funding the work of artists with capital donated to GODBERD by the artist's own community.  

Nothing is purchased through GODBERD, and everything is donated.  

GODBERD operates an economy of benevolence, and hopes to switch the idea of "purchase and own", for that of "donate and share in",  creating a culture of mutual care.  

How we can help—  

Production. We can help get your project accomplished with access to studios & workshops, a test kitchen, rehearsal space, micro-loans & more.   

Dissemination. We specialize in arts events production and have working relationships with different galleries and spaces around the city, so we can exhibit, screen, host, and put on your happening.   

Interaction. We have an online social media site, marketplace and online magazine to help get your work seen by even more. Enjoy the publicity and promotional tools of the entire Godberd network getting behind your work.  

Community Finance.  We micro finance projects, provide residencies, and mentorships, as well as facilitate access to means of production and presentation.
